ABSTRACT
Explores an approach to CuIn[sub x]Ga[sub 1-x]Se[sub 2] (CIGS) thin film formation by exposure of an indium-gallium-selenide precursor film to copper and selenium. Tolerance of photovoltaic devices made from precursor films; Characterization of the finished CIGS films; Reason for the existence of a compositional gradient in the critical ratio across the substrate.
