ABSTRACT
Examines the vortex pinning energy in Tl[sub 2]Ca[sub 2]BaCu[sub 2]O[sub 8] films by proton irradiation. Occurrence of maximum pinning energy at defect density; Dependence of pinning energy on the density of flux pinning centers; Ratio of pinning energies of pre- and post-irradiation defects.
