ABSTRACT
Examines the use of a double-disk structure to couple light output from a microdisk laser to maintain the resonator value. Control of photon leakage rate by choosing between disk distances; Use of the top disk to mount structures for light out coupling; Applicability of the device for optoelectronic devices.
