Describes the epitaxial growth of single-crystalline films of La[sub 2-x]Sr[sub x]CuO[sub 4] by laser ablation. Exhibition of values of T[sub co] above 38 K by the films; Display of a linear variation of the resistivity with T and excellent crystal quality; Aid of the process to oxygen deficiency in the LSCO films.
