ABSTRACT
Investigates the laser-induced breakdown (LIB) thresholds and silver chlorine bromide crystals, polycrystals and fibers under carbon dioxide pulse laser excitation. Derivation of the limit value of LIB thresholds of the bulk crystals; Dependence of the LIB on the composition and temperature; Absence of cracks in the samples of LIB in silver-produced samples.

Using the plasma model recent developed by the authors, this study predicts the existence of a constant ablation-depth zone with respect to fluence in femtosecond laser ablation of dielectrics, which has also been observed experimentally. It is found that the value of the constant ablation depth...

The à 2A1-X 2B1 electronic transition of the jet-cooled AsH2 free radical has been studied by laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), wavelength-resolved emission, and fluorescence lifetime measurements. The radical was produced by a pulsed electric discharge through a mixture of arsine (AsH3) and...

Single-phase (Bi2O3)0.7(Y2O3)0.3 (BYO) films are obtained by pulse laser deposition under the temperatures from 300 to 500 °C and the oxygen pressure of 90 Pa. Electric field-induced resistance switching is observed in the Ag/BYO/Pt structure. Postannealing in 750 °C improves the...

The use of high-spectral resolution VUV-photon beams in atomic photoionization experiments has significantly increased over the past few years, owing to the number of operating third generation synchrotron radiation sources and associated high-resolution beam lines. For laser-excited atoms,...
