ABSTRACT
Demonstrates the preparation of the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of n-docosyl-2-methyl-4-nitroaniline (DCMNA). Observation of the optical second harmonic generation from the LB multilayers of DCMNA; Polarization of the second harmonic signal parallel to the dipping direction; Derivation of the maximum second harmonic intensity.
