ABSTRACT
This article looks at career options facing athletic young women. The job of an exercise physiologist involves helping chronically ill people, such as those with diabetes or obesity, to improve their health via exercise programs. There is a need to complete a four-year bachelor degree that specialises in exercise physiology at a college or university. The initial salary level for a sports psychologist is around $55,000. There is an opportunity for a sports journalist to travel to sporting events both locally and overseas.
