ABSTRACT
Examines the phonon linewidth and relative intensity of scattering from nondiameter carbon phase in <110> and <100> textured polycrystalline diamond films using infrared Raman spectroscopy. Use of infrared excitation in providing high sensitivity to amorphous graphitelike carbon inclusions; Preparation of films by low-pressure chemical vapor deposition.
