ABSTRACT
Presents a study that proposed and fabricated a SiGe/Si asymmetric optical waveguide switch with transverse injection structure based on total internal reflection and plasma dispersion effect. Maximum optical switching and injection current of the device; Extinction ratio and crosstalk and insertion loss of the device.
