ABSTRACT
The article presents information on various social networking tools used by International Business Machines Corp. (IBM). The company uses social networking tools for keeping employees connected, and integrating new employees into the firm. IBM uses various social networking tools to facilitate mass collaboration, which include ThinkPlace, SmallBlue, and Beehive. ThinkPlace is an open intranet forum where ideas can be suggested by employees.
