ABSTRACT
Describes the electronic configuration of tantalum (Ta) in 1T-LiTaS[sub 2] crystal. Occurrence of high resolution Mossbauer effect (ME) of Ta in the lithiated single crystal of 1T-LiTaS[sub 2]; Implication of the presence of charge density wave on ME observation in the crystal; Induction of charge transfer in terms of isomer shift measurement.
