ABSTRACT
The article reports on the statement given by Alan Easter, group head of strategy and distribution at Money Portal in Great Britain, that selecting the proper platform will not increase the exit value of an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) firm. According to Easter, the only essential thing to consider is whether or not the IFA business is successful. He conceives that platforms cannot change the market.
