ABSTRACT
The article presents a political, economic and business risk assessment for Lithuania in 2009. Lithuania's European Union Budget Commissioner Dalia Grybauskaite has won in the May 17 presidential elections. Statistics Lithuania has revealed that industrial production collapsed in April, contracting by 25.5% year-on -year. Plans for the construction of a new nuclear plant at Visaginas have been approved by the Ministry of Environment.
