Robotic Cells Keep Ohio Firm Competitive

The article focuses on the use of welding robots from Fanuc Robotics America Inc. at the plant of G&W Products in Fairfield, Ohio to speed up the production of its metal stampings and fabricated metal parts. G&W has previously installed robotic welding cells from Lincoln Electric Co. G&W chief executive officer (CEO) Gary Johns said that the robots help achieve its 35% growth amid the global recession. The firm added that its manufactures 20,000 parts a month using the robots.
