Bowl Feeds Handles for Dental Mirror Assembly

The article focuses on an automated dental mirror assembly system developed by systems integrator and bowl manufacturing firm Dial-X Automated Equipment Inc. A vibratory bowl and conveyor was used to feed the handles of the mirror. Dial-X president Curt Bonar cited the use of urethane as coating for the bowl in order to avoid scratching. He also cited the installation of special tooling to provide assistance in the orientation.
