ABSTRACT
The article reports on the completion of the expansion of the solar panel plant of SolFocus Inc. in Arizona. Multiple convex reflectors that concentrate the sun's energy on a solar cell are being used by the firm's concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) systems to generate electricity. More than 30 megawatts of electricity will be generated by the firm through the use of the approximately 2 million concentrating reflectors that will be produced by the facility annually.
