Automated Leak Tester Provides Precision, Traceability

May 2009
Assembly;May2009, Vol. 52 Issue 5, p18
The article focuses on the decision of Eaton Aerospace to hire Quality First Systems Inc. (QFSI) to upgrade one of the leak-testing machines it uses to ensure the production of quality quick-connect hydraulic control circuit couplings. QFSI developed a customized, automated fixture to solve Eaton's problem with coupling production. Eaton has improved its throughput, quality and traceability by upgrading the leak-testing system for its quick-connect products.
