ABSTRACT
The article presents a report about foundations, which are used in the federal government of Canada as an alternative mechanism for service delivery. Foundations are indicated as a not-for-profit organizations that have become essential when it comes to implementing policy. The accounting of federal transfers by the Comptroller General and the Auditor General to foundations and a report on the main estimates of the funding entered into foundations are also being discussed.
