Disclosure standards

The article reports on the recommendations of the Institute of Medicine committee to the medical community to develop disclosure system regarding their financial- related deals in the industry in the U.S. The committee also calls for the government to make a national reporting system for all payments with the medical community including universities and health institutions. Moreover, a clinical trial that has been influenced by financial interest is also raised.
