ABSTRACT
The article reports on the need to restructure the residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) to assure its sustainability in Great Britain in 2009. Life insurance and financial services provider Legal & General Group PLC suggested that RMBS should be integrated with the support and terms from pension fund to assure reliability. RMBS should be designed in proportion to better risk management and long-term planning.
