ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the advantages of individual scheme pensions in Great Britain. AJ Bell Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andy Bell claimed that scheme pensions are not practical and they do not integrate well with Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs). He assumed that scheme pensions should not be used for long-term planning because of various rules affecting it that may change from time to time. There is also a tendency that scheme pensions may become redundant.
