ABSTRACT
Examines the combination of four-wave mixing and current modulation in a semiconductor optical amplifier. Measurement of the small signal chirp parameter for the conjugate signal; Comparison of the value of the chirp parameter with the value of modulated amplifier; Exhibition of broadening in the conjugate pulse traveling along a standard fiber.
