ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the military applications of several gimballed payloads. The Euroflir 410 payload from Sagem features a high-definition (HD) television (TV) camera, thermal imager camera and eye-safe laser rangefinder. Among the fixed- and rotary-wing airplanes that use the Toplite multi-sensor, electro-optical observation and targeting system from Rafael are the Bell 412 and Sikorsky UH-60. Drones utilize variants of MX-15 from L-3 Communications Wescam.
