ABSTRACT
The article presents a study that examines the similarity between the newscasts of ABS, CBS, NBC, CNN and PBS. It elaborates on networks' topic and story choice. The study reveals that the five news networks were closely similar in terms of topics covered than in the choice of stories. The author also explains that ABC, CBS and NBC were in agreement in terms of their selection of stories than with either CNN or PBS.
