ABSTRACT
This article discusses several provisions that should be included in a meeting contract to help deal with disruptions. Meeting planners must include contract clauses requiring the hotel to assure them that any ongoing construction will not disrupt the meeting. They should also include a provision specifying that the group can cancel without liability when a strike or labor dispute occurs.
