ABSTRACT
Reports on the measurement of the OH(A-X) and OD(A-X) emission spectra by 17 eV electron impact on the mixtures of water and D[sub 2]O with several mixing ratios. Intensity ratio of the total OH(A-X) emission to OD(A-X) versus the ratio of the H-atom quantity to the D atom in vapor phase; Significance of findings for the understanding of the dissociation mechanism.
