No pay, not no rules: Compliance tips for unpaid internship programs

The article suggests the factors to be considered by employers in complying with unpaid internship programs. Joel Rice of Fisher & Phillips LLC recommends aligning the internship program to that being given at a vocational school. He suggests providing regular education to interns at luncheon seminars where they can learn more about the industry. He also advises employers to let interns sign a written agreement.
