ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which found whether routine measurement of fractional flow reserve (FFR) using angiography improves cardiac outcomes in patients with multivessel coronary artery disease (CAD) having percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The study, conducted at 20 medical centers in the U.S. and Europe, concluded that the measurement of FFR using angiography reduced a composite of death, myocardial infarction, and repeated revascularization.
