ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Open Geospatial Consortium, the National Emergency Number Association, the National Association of State Fire Marshals and COMCARE Emergency Response Alliance are working for inter-organizational communications and information sharing for emergency preparedness, response and recovery. The end result of the initiative will test core services that companies can competitively offer to the emergency response community.
