ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the U.S. as a key player in ensuring world peace as well as the stance of various countries on ensuring world peace. It is noted that under American leadership there has been no major war in the last 65 years since World War II. It states that Great Britain is the only European state which has volunteered to fight aggression, that too with the U.S. leadership. It reflects that India has the potential to be a participant in the peacekeeping efforts of the U.S. in future.
