ABSTRACT
The article reports on the fears regarding the proposed plan to issue license to landlords in Great Britain. It states that the proposed licensing system requires landlords to pay £50 for registration and comply with the mandatory regulation as well as letting standards. Darren Pescod, managing director at Mortgage Broker Limited and Buy to Let Centre noted that the proposal would discourage new landlords as well as intensify the struggle of the industry.
