ABSTRACT
The article reports on the survey regarding the retirement plans of adults in Great Britain. Friends Provident PLC conducted the research which reveals that 23% of adults are willing to downsize or release equity to finance their retirement and 28% will continue to work if their pension is not sufficient. Axxis Financial Planning director Owen Wintersgill believes that people will resort to downsizing of property than releasing of equity since equity is not openly accepted by the public.
