The article focuses on video-over Internet protocol (IP) technology. It states that broadcasters install and maintain transport circuits in its operations like the transmitting video over IP networks. It discusses the challenges in transporting professional video-over IP including network losses, preserving timing relations and error characteristics of IP network.
