Las Vegas Business Press (10712186);5/25/2009, Vol. 26 Issue 21, pP10
This article reveals that Triple Five Nevada has decided to shelve its shopping center plan in northwest Las Vegas valley. The recession and reduced demand for the plan can be attributed to the decision, according to company officials. The proposed $800 million shopping center includes 185 stores and 16 restaurants. James Grindstaff of Triple Five Nevada says economic conditions will influence the start of construction for the project. Other components of the Great Mall are residential towers, public spaces and garage structures.
