ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the challenges being faced by trailer manufacturers on securing financing from lenders, addressed in the convention "Pulling Through the Economic Storm" of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) in the U.S. in 2009. Sales manager Stuart May of Trail Boss Conversions Inc. stressed the lack of inventory-finance lenders in the sector. He also cited the need for trailer manufacturers to be proactively managed in terms of banking relationship in order to get credit.
