ABSTRACT
The article reports on the compliment expressed by the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and its affiliate the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) for the re-introduction of the Commercial Motor Vehicle Advanced Safety Technology Tax Act of 2009 in the U.S. Representatives Mike Thompson and George Davis implemented the re-introduction. Under the act, tax credits will be provided for commercial vehicle owners who will adopt advanced safety systems. The act covers both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarkets.
