ABSTRACT
The article reports on the presentation of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) organic certification for the production facilities of German-based flavors and fragrance supplier Symrise in Teterboro and Branchburg, New Jersey. Global president of scent and care Achim Daub attributes the potential success of organic ingredients to consumer demand. Also cited is the significance of the acquisition of Manheimer Fragrances to the U.S. presence of Symrise. The firm entered into a distribution partnership with Bayliss Ranch for organic plant extracts.
