ABSTRACT
The article reports on the declining number of members and sponsors of chambers of commerce across Nevada. Businesses in the state have been among the hardest affected by the economic downturn of 2009, and this is reflected by the decline in dues-paying members at area chambers. Efforts being taken by the local chambers of commerce to retain members are also discussed.
