Valley Home Sales Grow 126% in January

This article reports on the increase in Southern Nevada home sales in January 2009, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR). Price cuts can be attributed to the 126% sales gains. GLVAR President Sue Naumann says they are hoping for the stability of home prices in the near term. It is estimated that the available units in February that were sold within 30 days or less generated $414.9 million in revenues.
