This article focuses on the involvement of McCarthy Building Companies in the construction of a biomedical facility at the University of Nevada's Shadow Lane Campus in Las Vegas. The biomedical facility project is worth $7.5 million. SmithGroup Inc. is a Phoenix, Arizona company responsible for the project's two-story building refurbishment. July 2009 is the expected completion date for the project.
