ABSTRACT
The article deals with the warning issued by California gaming authorities to their Nevada counterparts regarding a blackjack card-counting program that can be used on either the Apple iPhone or the Apple iPod Touch portable music player. Casino operators received a Gaming Control Board memorandum stating that the program calculates the true count accurately. Nevada laws consider using a device to aid in card counting as a felony, says board member Randy Sayre.
