ABSTRACT
The article deals with the efforts of Jim Ahearn to market the International Tennis Centre facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ahearn has relied on grass-roots marketing to inform visitors about the centre. He also started buying advertising space in tennis magazines to create interest among visitors before they arrive at the centre. He hope that the centre will bring a steady income to complement changes in tourist attendance and attract corporate events.
