ABSTRACT
The article reports on the reports on the $2.1 million loss of NV Energy Inc. for the fourth quarter of 2008. The expenses with power plants, the Walter Higgins Generating Station, and a new unit at Clark Station in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as the allowance for funds during construction were cited as factors that contributed to the business loss during the period. Revenues also declined by 2.6 percent during the quarter.
