ABSTRACT
The article deals with the process of creating a business logo. It highlights the advantages and disadvantages of the basic types of logos including wordmark, lettermark and brandmark. In making a logo, business consultant Barbara Findlay Schenck recommends identifying the mission, values, culture and character of the company. According to Bill Gardner, president of Gardner Design, the leading trend in logo design is simplicity.
