Wynn Resorts trims design staff by 41%

The article reports on a 41 percent staff reduction at Wynn Design and Development following the opening of its Encore Las Vegas in Nevada in December 2008. The company dismissed 53 employees, downsizing the company from 129 employees to 76. In a statement released by the company, it was claimed that the downsizing of the workforce is natural after the completion of a major project.
