ABSTRACT
The article announces that passenger traffic at McCarran International Airport decreased by 7.7% in 2008 or 3 points short of 47.7 million passengers in 2007. It reports that scheduled flights, charters and commuters performed badly as of December 2008 with top five carriers reporting negative percent in passenger counts. These five carriers are Southwest, U.S. Airways, United, American, and Delta. McCarran's other terminals also released a passenger count of only 12.8% in 2008 compared to 2007.
