ABSTRACT
The article announces that the Nevada State Bank (NSB) sold 23 of its store branches in Southern Nevada to U.S. Bank only to open four new locations. The maneuver has left the NSB with a total of 38 in Southern Nevada from a previous 53 branches. On top of this, the bank opened 38 new automated teller machines (ATMs) in Walgreens stores. The U.S. Bank took over Smith's Food & Drug Stores on January 26, 2009 and added 23 grocery-store locations for a total of 47 plus 17 traditional branches.
