ABSTRACT
The article announces that the state of Nevada approved the purchase of Cannery Casino Resorts by Crown Ltd. of Australia for $1.8 billion. The transaction however will not be final until the state of Pennsylvania, where Cannery owns a racino in Pittsburgh, clears Cannery to sell. Crown has already opened an office in Las Vegas, Nevada and formed an executive team composed of a chief executive officer and chief executive officer. Crown owns properties in Australia, Great Britain, British Columbia, Alberta and Macau.
