ABSTRACT
The article announces that almost 44 million people came and left McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008 which declined by 7.7% if compared with 2007 figures. The study made by the Clark County Department of Aviation also showed a 14.1% decline in December 2008 which proves that the recession has affected Las Vegas tourism. The most number of visitors recorded was 44.3 million in 2005 and 2008 marked the fewest people in the airport's history.
