ABSTRACT
The article announces that Wyndham Vacation Ownership has stopped construction of a 19-story tower to conserve capital and hold down debt and the resumption date is still unknown. When done, the tower would have 281 suites with two adjoining towers on the 14.8-acre lot for a total of 2,000 rooms. The company will eventually have to sell the units and finish the tower according to spokeswoman Liz Hutchinson. Wyndham has four other projects in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has sold about $1 billion in rooms in 2008.
